Service Learning
This web site maintains a list of agencies that will also
accept volunteers who do not need SSL credit but wish to volunteer.
Students in Montgomery County Public Schools are required
to complete a number of student service learning hours before
graduating. One of the ways students can fulfill this requirement
is to select from an approved list of volunteer activities.
The Volunteer and Community Service Center maintains this
database of approved SSL agencies and activities. Every high
school has an SSL coordinator. Students should contact their
