There
are eighteen small shelters which may be reserved for a non-refundable
fee of $75 plus a $50 refundable security deposit. The shelters
hold 40 people maximum and are lettered A through R. Each
shelter contains 4 picnic tables and a grill.
Both
fee and deposit payments are required in order to make a reservation.
No tentative reservations will be accepted. Reservations are
accepted beginning January 1st for the current season. Two
thirds of all participants must be residents of Montgomery
or Prince George's County. No alcohol of any kind is permitted
at any of the regional park's picnic shelters.
Please
note: once a reservation has been made, the fee is nonrefundable.
It is a rain or shine policy. A $25 fee is required for all
reservation changes.
