Some
of the activities often featured at the Ag Park's festivals
include hay rides, sheep dog exhibition, sheep shearing exhibition,
turn of the century craftsmen, baby farm animals and more.
The festivals are guaranteed to offer an enjoyable time for

The
Farm Park is utilized by the Maryland
Department of Natural Resources for managed deer hunts
in the fall and winter each year. Hunters were permitted to
use bow, muzzleloader or other firearms. More information
of events of this kind can be gained from the Maryland Department
of Natural Resources.
The
park is one of three compost demonstration areas in Montgomery
County. (Additional

Certification
training and testing sessions, to become a Certified Landscape
technician, are held at the park by the Landscape Contractors
Association of MD, DC, & VA in the summer season. For
