If you are looking for open gym, supervised play, sports or gym, the Community Recreation Centers are where you will find them. In addition these centers often offer activities for children, teens, adults and seniors. Workshops, clinics, drop-in programs, and crafts are also common activities in these county maintained facilities. Some Centers have weight and exercise rooms, billiards and game areas. A part of each location is allocated for rental by residents of the county, call the appropriate center for more information on renting space in your local community center.

The Montgomery County Department of Parks and Recreation organizes a wide variety of activities for residents of all ages. They have announced their Summer 2000 schedules for camps and programs they will be offering. Registration begins no earlier than February 8, 2000.

To register for any of the programs they offer, simply visit or call one of their CRSC locations (Community Recreation Service Centers). Operated by the Department of Parks and recreation, these centers are the best places to seek further information on the programs available. These centers serve the entire county and can all be equally utilized regardless of where in the county you reside.
